Born on July 7, 1976, Sharon J. Hummel Mink was the cherished daughter of Lorraine Hummel and the late Joseph Hummel. Sharon was the devoted wife of Timothy Mink, with whom she built a loving family grounded in compassion, loyalty, and shared memories. Together, they raised their two beloved children, Olivia and Luke Mink, who were the center of Sharon’s world. Friends and relatives often described her as a deeply dedicated mother whose greatest joy came from supporting and nurturing her children in every stage of their lives.
In addition to her husband and children, Sharon is survived by her sister, Melissa Jenesky, and brother-in-law Denny of Harrison City. She was also a proud and loving aunt to Ava and Caroline Jenesky, sharing a close relationship with her nieces and extended family members. Her warmth and caring nature helped create strong bonds that will continue to be treasured by those who knew her best.
A graduate of Penn State University, Sharon earned a degree in Accounting, which led to a successful and respected career in the field. Colleagues admired her professionalism, intelligence, and dependable nature. Whether at work or at home, she approached every responsibility with dedication and integrity.
Outside of her career, Sharon had a passion for sports and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Game days were often moments of excitement and togetherness for family and friends, as Sharon enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams with those she loved.
Despite her many accomplishments, those closest to Sharon say her proudest role was being a mother and wife. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family and consistently placed the needs of others ahead of her own. Her gentle presence, encouraging words, and unconditional love created countless cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
