Hannah Marie Moser, 39, of Oakmont, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, leaving behind a family and community deeply impacted by her life, love, and generosity. Her passing has brought profound grief to those who knew her, while also inspiring reflection on the strength, compassion, and selflessness she demonstrated throughout her life.
Hannah was the beloved daughter of Susie and Robert Moser of Oakmont, and a loving sister to Emily (Ally) Burkhardt and the late Garrett Moser. She shared strong family bonds that remained central throughout her life, and her absence is felt deeply by those closest to her. She is also survived by extended family members including her aunt Cindy, uncle Clint, cousin Sonya (Matt), and their children Elijah, Cohen, and Bennett, as well as her nephew Cayden, the son of Julia Myers.
Family members remember Hannah as someone who loved deeply and fiercely protected those she cared about. She was known for her strong presence, her loyalty, and her willingness to stand up for the people she loved. At the same time, she was described as kind-hearted, generous, and compassionate—someone who consistently put others before herself, often prioritizing the needs of those around her above her own.
From an early age, Hannah showed exceptional athletic talent and determination. She was an All-Star athlete, particularly excelling in basketball and softball. Her competitive spirit, discipline, and dedication made her stand out both on and off the field. Coaches, teammates, and friends remember her as someone who brought energy, commitment, and teamwork to every game she played. Her passion for sports reflected her larger approach to life—driven, resilient, and deeply connected to her community.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Hannah’s personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and authenticity. Friends describe her as someone who could be counted on in both joyful and difficult times, always ready to offer support, encouragement, or simply a listening ear. Her ability to form strong, meaningful relationships made her a cherished presence in the lives of many.
In her final hours, Hannah made one last extraordinary act of generosity by giving the gift of life through organ donation. Through this decision, she was able to help save two lives and provide hope to many others in need. This final act reflects the selfless nature she carried throughout her life and stands as a powerful legacy of compassion and humanity.
Hannah will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Plum Creek Cemetery, where she will be buried alongside her grandparents and her late brother Garrett. This resting place symbolizes her deep family connections and the bonds that remained important to her throughout her life.
In honor of Hannah’s memory, the family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Susie Moser and sent to Burket-Truby Funeral Home in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. These contributions are intended to support the family during this difficult time and serve as a tribute to Hannah’s life and legacy.
Though her passing leaves an irreplaceable void, Hannah Marie Moser will be remembered for her strength, love, athletic spirit, and extraordinary generosity. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the lives she helped save.
