Brynn Bentley Boyle County KY Obituary – 16-Year-Old Killed in Lincoln County Two-Vehicle Crash

The communities of Boyle County and Lincoln County, Kentucky, are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Brynn Bentley, a 16-year-old whose life was tragically cut short following a two-vehicle crash Friday night. Authorities confirmed that the fatal collision occurred at approximately 9:52 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Ashe Road.


According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Brynn Bentley was driving a 2018 silver Mazda 3 and was exiting the Dove Cove subdivision when the accident happened. Investigators said Bentley was attempting to turn left onto U.S. 127 when her vehicle collided with a southbound 2003 Chevrolet Silverado traveling along the highway.



Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene following reports of the crash. Volunteers with the Lincoln County Fire Department worked urgently to extricate the teenager from the heavily damaged vehicle while Lincoln County EMS personnel immediately initiated life-saving efforts. Despite their attempts to save her, officials said Brynn Bentley succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Lincoln County Coroner Farris Marcum later pronounced her dead.


The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for treatment. Authorities described those injuries as non-life-threatening.
